Triumph Motorcycle Apprenticeship Programme

Triumph Motorcycles Ltd

25 Aug

Days Left

£0 per annum

The Triumph Motorcycle Apprenticeship Programme is the industry leading training scheme that firstly helps you find a real job with a Triumph dealer in your area and secondly provides you with all the training you will need to become a fully qualified Motorcycle Technician.

This will be a fantastic opportunity to improve your long term career prospects, whether you are starting out in your first job or progressing at work. Whoever you are, whatever your background or circumstances - if you want to start your career working on the latest motorcycles and equipment, a Triumph motorcycle apprenticeship is a great place to start.

Designed by employers, Apprenticeship Standards are work-based training programmes targeted at people aged 16 - 24. However, if you are above 24 years of age and maybe looking to re-train you can still apply and these applications will be treated on a case by case basis. An apprenticeship means that you have a job that includes gaining recognised qualifications and essential skills while you are working and earning a wage via a combination of on and off-the-job learning and development.

Your employer will support your training and you will be earning at least the National Minimum Wage. The Triumph Motorcycle Apprenticeship Programme will help you understand fully the career path that is being pursued. You will be challenged to perform to the best of your ability and to achieve your goals.

The Triumph Motorcycle Apprenticeship Programme will give you access to industry leading learning environments and resources that will support you to develop, influence and achieve your individual goals. During the Apprenticeship Programme you will attend training carried out on a block release basis (travel and overnight stay required - costs covered by your employer) at Triumph?s global headquarters dedicated training facility in Hinckley, Leicestershire. This consists of attending 17 weeks of block training over the three year Apprenticeship Programme. During your apprenticeship you will be allocated a dedicated trainer who will guide and support you through to completion.

Successful completion of your apprenticeship will take approximately three years and in this time you?ll not only achieve nationally recognised qualifications, but also learn the skills to become a fully accredited Motorcycle Technician.

During the three year programme you will be required to prove practical and industry competence (knowledge and skills) to achieve a level 3 qualification. You will also be required to achieve a level 2 English and Maths prior to the completion of your apprenticeship if you do not have any prior qualifications to exempt them (GCSE Grades A-C).
