Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate will be confident and knowledgeable in all areas of the workshop process. They will have a dogged determination to ensure the ‘first time fix’ is the only acceptable outcome. They will be personable, highly motivated and possess a problem solving ‘can do’ attitude. They will understand the importance of teamwork and the delivery of customer service to high exacting dealership standards. Naturally, we will be looking for a technician with a comprehensive understanding of motorcycles. Previous experience of Motorcycles within the KTM group would be an advantage, however a varied background is essential.

Essential

Experience and/or a qualification in motorcycle service and repair is essential, as is a strong work ethic. You will have a strong working knowledge of diagnostic equipment and be competent in all aspects of servicing and modern engine work. Electrical knowledge is essential, as is the ability to use your own initiative. The workshop environment is often busy so our ideal candidate must thrive under pressure whilst still delivering excellent customer service. You must be computer literate, be a confident communicator, with exceptional interpersonal abilities, and demonstrate excellent time management skills. You will also have a full motorcycle licence.

Benefits

An attractive salary of £30,000.00 to £35,000.00 (pro rata) + bonus will be offered to the successful applicant, reflecting qualifications, experience and the requirement to commit to a manufacturer backed training programme. The successful applicant will be required to attend and pass three off site Husqvarna training programmes within their first year of employment. All costs associated with the training are covered by GH Motorcycles.A monthly performance bonus will be available. The successful applicant will also enjoy 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, a statutory pension plan, staff discount and a full manufacturer backed training programme.
