CMC Motorcycles Thunder Road are looking for a Service Writer to join our team at our Honda franchise dealership selling some of the market's leading and most popular motorcycle brands. Working with these brands, you must be well-presented and professional in order to be considered for this position with a passion for motorcycles and customer satisfaction. We offer a wide range of new and used motorcycles, and take great pride in being able to offer a first-class experience for their customers.

Working as part of a busy team, you will be based on our Service Reception where your responsibilities will include meeting and greeting customers, dealing with any telephone enquiries and liaising with the Service Manager. You will also help to look after a team of Technicians, allocating the work load and managing the jobs effectively, working closely with the Service Manager.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise Technician performance.
- Prepare schedules and plan staff duty rotations to ensure that servicing and repairs are completed as quickly as possible.
- Manage the sales process to contact existing customers when their next scheduled service is due.
- Ensure that services and repairs are completed within agreed time frames and that customers are kept fully informed along the way.
- Responsible for providing customers with estimates and accurately invoicing for work carried out.

Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will ideally possess previous experience of working within a Service Writer role in the motor trade, or maybe a previous technician who loves speaking to customers and fancies a new challenge.

Essential

You will require strong customer service skills & the ability to work without supervision, as well as being able to priorities and multi task. This can be a busy role but also very rewarding.
You should be able demonstrate the ability to build rapport with all types of customers and be confident in negotiating and influencing situations.
