Motorcycle Technician

We are excited to be recruiting for an experienced Motorcycle Technician to join our workshop team at Maidstone Harley-Davidson. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a passionate dealership representing one of the most iconic motorcycle brands in the world.

As a Motorcycle Technician, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, repair and diagnostics of customers’ motorcycles, ensuring every machine leaves the workshop performing at its best and ready for the road ahead.

Working within a professional dealership environment, you will take pride in delivering exceptional workmanship while maintaining the high standards expected from the Harley-Davidson and Laguna brand.

Main duties:

Carrying out service, repair and diagnostic work on Harley-Davidson motorcycles
Completing work to manufacturer standards and dealership quality expectations
Using diagnostic equipment and workshop tools to accurately identify faults
Producing clear and accurate technical reports on completed work
Completing service documentation including job sheets, inspection reports and service records
Working collaboratively with the service and parts departments
Ensuring motorcycles are returned to customers safe, reliable and finished to a high standard

Ideal Candidate

Experienced motorcycle technician with strong diagnostic ability (Essential)
Relevant qualifications in Motorcycle Maintenance and Repair (Level 3 preferred)
Ideally already qualified to advanced/expert level via the Harley Davidson University (HDU), however manufacturer led training is available to progress to this level
Experience working in a professional workshop environment, preferably with Harley Davidson (Highly desirable)
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship (Essential)
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team (Essential)
Excellent problem-solving skills and technical knowledge (Essential)
Good communication skills when liaising with colleagues and service advisors (Essential)
Excellent computer literacy and experience with computer based diagnostic tools (Essential)
Full UK motorcycle driving license (Essential)
