Lukas Distribution, the UK distributor for renowned manufacturers BSA Motorcycles and Royal Alloy Scooters, draws upon two decades of expertise and has established itself as one of the UK’s leading distribution companies with a thriving dealer network. As an expanding company, Lukas Distribution is seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee operations across the UK.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting and developing our dealer network across BSA, Royal Alloy and future brands. This involves helping dealers achieve sales targets, implementing and maintaining brand standards, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.

The role requires a business-focused approach to dealer relations, coupled with accurate reporting and monitoring of customer and territory performance. As the primary point of contact for all business matters, the Area Manager will play a key role in driving success on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

- Support, maintain, and develop our existing BSA and Royal Alloy dealership base.
- Manage sales performance to achieve set targets and commercial objectives for dealers.
- Identify, appoint, and develop long-term business partnerships with customers.
- Undertake necessary administrative tasks within the role.
- Ensure dealers adhere to brand standards in their physical premises and digital marketing channels.
- Attend exhibitions and trade shows as required.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and possess excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills while maintaining a consistently high level of professionalism.
- Must be willing to work flexibly to ensure target achievement and promote commercial growth in the area.
- Must be able to drive as the role involves daily travel to dealers within their designated area.
- A good understanding of the motorcycle and/or automotive markets with experience in retail management would be an advantage, although not essential as full training will be given as necessary.
