Motorcycle Transport Operations Supervisor

Move Motorcycles is one of the UK’s leading motorcycle transport specialists, working with major dealerships, manufacturers and private customers nationwide.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable and organised Transport Operations Supervisor to strengthen operations at our Oxford depot.
This is a hands-on operational role combining driving, route planning and driver compliance oversight.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

- Being at the Oxford depot by 7:45am, Monday to Friday.
- Driving nationwide routes as required.
- Planning weekly routes for the fleet (planning completed over the weekend).
- Ensuring routes for all drivers are completed and confirmed before finishing work each day.
- Preparing daily loading lists for all drivers.
- Managing loading bay organisation to ensure drivers can load efficiently and depart on time.
- Tracking and monitoring driver hours using Geotab telematics software.
- Ensuring compliance with working time regulations.
- Liaising with dealerships and customers regarding collections and deliveries.
- Supporting operational problem-solving and schedule adjustments.
- A company laptop and mobile phone will be provided to enable route planning and communication while on the move.
- Weekend planning is an essential part of this role and ensures smooth operations for the week ahead.

Ideal Candidate

- Clean UK driving licence (van experience essential).
- Highly organised and dependable.
- Good geographical knowledge of the UK.
- Confident using software systems (Geotab or similar preferred).
- Able to manage driver hours accurately and responsibly.
- Calm under pressure and solution-focused.
- Professional when dealing with customers and dealerships.

Desirable

Motorcycle knowledge is advantageous but not essential.

Benefits

£28,000 base salary + £75 per week Operations & Weekend Planning Allowance - Total package: £31,900 per year.
