About the role
As part of its continued development in the United Kingdom, and following an internal replacement, Furygan is recruiting a UK Area Manager.
Taking over an established territory, you will be responsible for driving the performance and development of the UK market. This is a hands-on, autonomous role, combining strategic market management with strong field presence, in close collaboration with the Export and Head Office Marketing teams.
Your responsibilities
Sales development & key accounts
- Develop and manage key UK accounts, building long-term partnerships.
- Lead commercial negotiations and monitor account performance.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the UK market.
- Work closely with internal teams to support market growth.
Field activity & retail network
- Maintain a strong field presence, visiting existing retailers and prospects.
- Deliver collection presentations and product training in-store.
- Represent the brand at trade shows, events and local commercial initiatives.
Operational marketing & market management
- Roll out the commercial and marketing strategy defined by head office.
- Act as a key market voice, proactively suggesting relevant local actions and priorities.
- Monitor the market (competition, trends, customer expectations).
- Provide clear and structured field feedback to Export, Marketing and Product teams.
- Ensure effective merchandising and brand visibility at retail level.
Stock & logistics
- Manage and control UK stock levels, ensuring product availability and supporting sales performance.
Reporting line
Global Export Manager
- Proven experience in a field-based sales role, ideally as an Area Manager or Sales Manager.
- Strong understanding of the motorcycle industry (equipment, accessories, specialist retail preferred).
- Comfortable balancing key account management with hands-on store visits.
- Commercially driven, with strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Highly organised, autonomous and results-focused.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally (sales / marketing / logistics).
- French is a plus but not essential.
- A key role with real ownership of the UK market.
- A mix of autonomy, field activity and strategic input.
- Home-based position in the UK, with frequent travel across the territory and regular trips to France.
- Full-time role.
