About Us:

Our CMC South Wales (Newport) location is a premium franchise dealership representing some of the market’s best-selling motorcycle brands and we are now looking for a Sales Manager to join our passionate and high-performing team.
The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and highly motivated individual to take on a senior leadership role within a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be responsible for managing the sales department, delivering strong performance across new and used motorcycle sales, finance and insurance (F&I) products, and ensuring every customer receives an outstanding buying experience.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be process-driven, compliance-focused, and bring a strong work ethic. A proven background in sales or management within the automotive or motorcycle sector is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team to achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
• Develop the team’s skills in conversion, F&I sales, and customer service excellence.
• Monitor daily activity through lead enquiry management systems to maximise opportunities.
• "Second-face" customers to help close deals and maximise profitability.
• Manage and reconcile the sales deal book to provide accurate reporting on units sold and gross profit.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints within the sales department in a timely and professional manner.
• Oversee the disposal of trade-in motorcycles in line with company guidelines.
• Ensure the sales process is compliant with all regulatory and company standards.

• Proven track record in sales or management, ideally within the motorcycle or automotive industry or similar.
• Leadership and people development skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Professional appearance and manner—representing premium motorcycle brands with confidence.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
• A passion for motorcycles and the motorcycling lifestyle is highly advantageous.
• Full motorcycle licence preferred.
