Moto Rapido Ducati was formed in 2002 by two Ducati enthusiasts, then we were just a small independant shop servicing, selling, tuning and racing Ducati.

After several years as an independent specialist, we were noticed and recognised by Ducati UK and in 2005 we were appointed as a fully authorised Ducati dealer and Ducati Performance specialist (we've even won a few awards!). We are very proud of our specialist workshop background and not just as a regular Ducati dealer, we support many UK racers, track riders, and all of the main owners clubs. Now 20+ years later we are one of the top Ducati dealers in the UK also currently competing successfully at the sharp end of the British Superbike Championship as Oxford Products Racing Ducati.

We are looking for at least one additional Motorcycle Technician to join our expanding workshop team in our top Ducati dealership working on one of the most exciting and desirable motorcycle brands.

Our workshop completes all types of maintenance from new bike preparation and scheduled servicing, to race bike conversions and engine building. The high standards we use in our Oxford Products Racing Ducati British Superbike Team feed through all aspects of our work, so the successful candidate must be keen and willing to adopt this work ethic.

We’re looking for someone with workshop experience and knowledge of current diagnostic equipment as well as all aspects of servicing and modern maintenance. Someone who is willing to accept training and who understands high level customer service with a real eye for detail. An understanding of the latest technologies will also be advantageous.

Most importantly we’re looking for an individual with a passion and desire to achieve the highest standards and who will take pride in their own work, along with the successes of the workshop team.

Reporting directly to the Service Manager, the core responsibilities include:

- Completing repairs and services to motorcycles following manufacturers procedures and ensuring the highest possible accuracy and standards are maintained.
- Carry out instructions from the job card/repair order accurately, complying with repair instructions and required settings and tolerances from manuals, manufacturer bulletins, check sheets and so on.
- Accurately report and record services, diagnostic tests, and other potential work via the use of electronic tablet.
- Completing new bike preparation from delivery to showroom display ensuring the bike is immaculately presented for sale.
- Become an integral part of our team sharing best practise and supporting the existing team in all aspects of the workshop.

We'll provide you with all the right kit and there'll be no targets to hit - either time or sales. All we ask is you do the job perfectly and that you're someone who is looking for a proper career working with this incredible brand as part of a fantastic team!

Essential

Previous workshop experience of motorcycle maintenance.
A willingness to learn and adopt our standards with a strong commitment to working as part of a team.
A passion for and understanding of the Ducati brand and how our loyal customer base relates to their Ducati motorcycles.
IT literate and familiar with modern operating systems.
A full UK motorcycle license and own transport.

Benefits

A very competitive salary will be awarded to the successful candidate which will fully reflect both qualifications and experience. We don’t work on bonus or upsell, we just pay decent wages for the right person.
Ongoing industry-leading Ducati training, both online and in Italy, will form part of the role.
Working week is Monday - Friday, no weekend working and all bank holidays off.
