Motorcycle Technician/Mechanic

We are looking to recruit a Motorcycle Technician to join our friendly workshop team in our premium franchised dealership.
Main duties include:

- Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance to a variety of motorcycles and scooters in accordance with manufacturer’s schedules and specifications.
- Complete pre-delivery inspections and used bike preparation.
- Perform all diagnostic testing to identify potential faults.
- Fixing accessories and aftermarket spares for customer orders ready for collection or delivery.

From time to time you may also be required to talk to customers and as such you must be able to communicate clearly and provide technical explanations in a way that can be easily understood.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have franchise workshop experience and be able to work to tight deadlines to exacting manufacturer franchise standards.

Essential

The successful candidate must have technical experience of modern motorcycles and be able to use current diagnostic equipment. You must be a self-starter with a flexible can-do attitude, able to work as part of a close team and possess a good attention to detail. You will be able to work independently or as part of a team to achieve job/customer satisfaction. You should also possess your own tools.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
