Head Technician, Triumph & Harley-Davidson Watford

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Head Technician to join us at our dual site in LIND Triumph North London and Harley-Davidson Watford.

Reporting directly to the Head of Service, Parts & Clothing, the Head Technician will be working as an experienced Motorcycle Technician with the added responsibility of supporting other Technicians, overseeing the smooth running of the workshop, and ensuring maximised efficiency at all times.

To be successful in this role it is essential that you are an experienced Motorcycle Technician, MOT Tester and possess a NVQ3 in motorcycle maintenance.

This is an ideal role for someone wishing to continue developing their career with the support of an experienced team, manufacturer training, and an award-winning dealership.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Servicing Triumph Motorcycles
- Quality control checking including MOT Testing
- Providing Written Diagnostics on Job Cards
- Conversant with Online Systems and Special Tools
- Achieving Daily Hours Sold Target & supporting other Technicians to do the same.
- Have knowledge of the Technician strengths and weaknesses to ensure efficient job bookings.
- Understanding of Dealership targets and focusing on upselling work to drive business from within the workshop.
- Guide and develop Technicians by sharing knowledge and providing reassurance.
- Coach and mentor Technicians to work out solutions.
- Oversee Apprentice training and marking college work if necessary. ?
- Monitoring all paperwork completed by Technicians.
- Health & Safety Checks
- PPE Orders
- Ensuring that the workshop is adhering to Manufacturer Guidelines at all times.

Essential

- Hold a Full A Category Motorcycle Licence.
- Previous experience as a Motorcycle Technician.
- Possess a First-Class can-do Attitude.
- Be a Team Player.
