Founded in 2001, Motogear Ltd are the sole UK distributor for the Italian based Nolan Group helmets, who have over 50 years manufacturing experience.

Furthering Motogear's portfolio of brands is French based Ixon, a unique global brand of motorcycling equipment, with their extensive collection of quality clothing. Accompanying these are Gaerne high quality, Italian manufactured of footwear with over 60 years experience.

Motogear are seeking a professional and self-motivated Area Sales Manager to cover the Northern Area, this is an exciting position within our expanding company - to work with key retailers to develop our market leading portfolio consisting of premier helmet brand Nolan Group, as well as the rapidly expanding Ixon clothing brand and Gaerne boots.

The Role Covers:

• Support, maintain and develop our existing customer base
• Identify new sales opportunities with potential customers
• Managing the sales performance of our customers and achieving all targets and commercial objectives
• Representing all brands within the company’s portfolio
• Attend exhibitions and trade shows, as required
• Maintain accurate sales activity records for each customer
• Effective communications with all departments within the Company

Ideal Candidate

• Self-motivated, possess excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills
• Willing to work flexibly in order to ensure target achievement and commercial growth of the area
• Possess a strong positive attitude
• Always maintain a high level of professionalism
• Must have a full UK driving licence

Essential

You must be willing to work flexibly in order to ensure target achievement and commercial growth in the area.

Desirable

Whilst previous industry and sales experience would certainly be an advantage - it is not essential as full training will be given to the successful candidate as necessary. However, this job could also suit someone's first area sales role.
