An exciting field based opportunity has arisen within our Sales & Marketing Division for a dynamic sales person to become an Area Sales Manager for all Motorcycle and Scooter related products. Reporting to the Manager, Motorcycle & Scooter Sales you will be responsible for representing the Yamaha brand in the North of England and Scotland Territory as well as at relevant industry events.

The key accountabilities of this role are to visit our extensive dealer networks to maintain and strengthen the relationships which exist as well as to seek out new sales opportunities to maximise our selling opportunities and Yamaha’s presence within the related markets. You will need to be self- motivated and be able to plan routes effectively to achieve multiple dealer visits each day . Based from home and living on the patch of your territory, you will also need to plan time each week to allow for administration days where relevant.

Every stage of the customers journey with Yamaha must align with our brand values so it is an important part of the role to lead our dealers on the benefits of this unified approach and to work with the Dealer Development and Trade teams on ensuring the success of our visual identity projects at the showrooms to allow growth for all stakeholders within the business partnerships.

Being one of three Area Sales Managers for one of our key market sectors requires working with colleagues in the rest of the sales team as well as marketing colleagues to achieve the targets required both in your own territory and on a national level. Performance reports for each region as well as ideas will be discussed and collaborated on at regular sales meetings at our head office down in Woking, Surrey where you will need to be in attendance.

Essential

Applicants should have relevant sales experience with a passion for these products, plus the energy and enthusiasm to meet the challenges and opportunities available to maximise sales wherever possible. A full motorcycle license is essential at the point of application.
