Van Driver for Motorcycle Transport Company

We're Expanding and looking for a driver who is professional, polite to our dealers and customers, you will need to:

• Be confident in handling motorcycles and able to push motorcycles up a full width loading ramp into the van and secure into wheel chocks with straps, this requires strength and some flexibility, they must be able to do this in a sure-footed manner completely unaided as they will work alone and cannot always expect the customer or dealer to assist, this can be challenging in the rain and cold weather.
• Multiple motorcycles will be transported in the van at any one time and its essential they are loaded securely to prevent damage; full training will be given.
• Upload photos of every machine before collection and after delivery to our system this proves you have not caused any damage in transit.
• Follow a planned route using our bespoke driver app which we have developed.
• Collections and deliveries can be hours apart expect to drive hundreds of miles most days and be prepared to drive in all weather and light conditions.
• Keep your van clean and tidy and ensure the vehicle is safe to drive and daily checks have been carried out, i.e.: Oil level and lights checked.
• Wear a shirt with our logo combined with black combat trousers and work boots, supplied by us.
• Enjoy working and have a love for bikes in general.
• We want the successful candidate to enjoy working with us and they will be a valued member of this family business.

• A sales representative who is used covering mileage.
• Could come from a competitor.

• The ability to work independently & as part of a team.
• Happy being Self Employed.

Essential

• You must be over 25 and have a Full Driving Licence that enables you to drive a van up to 3.5 tonnes.
• You must be capaple of driving a large van 7 metres long.
• Must be professional and polite to our customers.
• Be happy.
• Enjoy being out and about.
• Like motorcycles.

Desirable

• Full Motorcycle licence.
• Prepared to work late or start early.
• May know some dealers to help grow our sales.

£75 per day on a self employed basis
