Motorcycle Technician

We are looking to recruit a Motorcycle Technician for our well established dealership in Welwyn Garden City. Whilst we are primarily looking for a fully experienced Technician, we are willing to invest time and energy into your training, and you will wish to take full advantage of BMW Motorrad’s training programme.

You will interact with our Customers, so, standard service is not enough. You will genuinely want to take ownership of their needs, wants and desires, and you’ll want to get fully involved with dealership events and rides, both on and off site. We live and breathe BMW, to us this is far more than just a place of work.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Direct Interaction with our Customers
• Servicing BMW Motorcycles
• Understand and Adhere to Manufacturer Guidelines
• Carry out Health Checks
• Be Conversant with Manufacturer Online Systems and Special Tools
• Provide Written Diagnostics on Job Cards
• Achieve Maximum Personal Efficiency
• Achieve Daily Sold Hours Target

Ideal Candidate

Essential

The successful candidate will:

* Previous experience as a motorcycle technician (not necessarily BMW)
* NVQ Level 3 qualification
• Hold a Full A Category Motorcycle Licence
• Possess a First Class can do Attitude
• Be a Team player
• Be Computer Literate

Desirable

Qualified Motorcycle MOT tester (desirable but not essential).
