ABOUT US

The GreenMo group is Europe’s largest provider of electric two-wheel delivery vehicles, providing over 4,500 electric mopeds to delivery fleets across the UK and Europe.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

You’ll be joining a team of field technicians at our GreenMo workshop based in SE1. The workshop supports our operations team to ensure our mopeds are serviced and maintained.

The position will be to join a professional and friendly team of mobile Technicians/Mechanics. You will be required to service mopeds within different locations across the UK.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

To carry out routine servicing or maintenance on fleet bikes (mopeds).
Conduct diagnosis of any found or reported faults, carrying out repairs as required.
Completion of appropriate documentation.
Carry out road tests to confirm correct operation and stability following service/repair.
Stock control – to quickly become familiar with the parts ordering process.
Ensure work space and tools/equipment is kept maintained to an acceptable standard.
Provide great customer service and offer advice to drivers and their managers.
Advise appropriate colleagues of any additional work/faults found.
Ensure that work is completed within manufacturers’ standard times where possible.
Keep personal working area clean and free from potential hazards.
Report any potential hazards to your supervisor.
To comply with all Health & Safety standards.
Test ride bikes after they have been worked on.
Attend training courses to update personal skills and knowledge.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Qualifications:
Ideally, we are looking for someone who has a Level 3 in City & Guilds qualification, whether that may be cars or motorcycles, or equivalent engineering qualification.
Full clean UK driving licence is essential.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Monday – Friday (40 hours per week) and occasional Saturday when requested.
You will be required to have your own basic hand tools (specialist tools will be provided).
The mechanic will receive a fuel card and his own van once he/she has passed a training period (all training is provided upon accepting the position).
Holiday is 20 days per year + bank holidays.
Full uniform and PPE are supplied.
