Reporting to the UK Sales & Marketing Manager and working within the Sales and Marketing Department, this role heads up the Sales Support function of KMUK.
Oversee product supply (M/C, ATV, Mule and Jet Ski) plus Parts and Accessory supply.
Team management to ensure a smooth running of dealer and internal facing support functions, product flow and reporting.
Main Tasks:
- Management of the Sales Support department.
- Relationship management of external/internal logistics partners.
- Stock flow management - Kawasaki Motors Europe/UK warehouse flow.
- Reporting administration, both internal and external (KMUK/KME/MCIA/AEA/CAP etc.)
- Liaise with KME HQ and Vianan regarding import/export.
- Updating internal systems with product supply information.
Accountability/Responsibilities:
- Communication with the Dealer network.
- Maintain Trade related publications (price lists etc.)
- Maintain Qlik reporting system/create ad hoc reports.
- Oversee daily spare parts and accessories operations.
- Mule flow management, including component orders for the UK Mule Build facility.
- Manage all aspects of RAV accounts. (Registration of Products)
- Manage internal fleet, including staff loan/lease/purchase bikes and asset disposal.
The role is office based so candidates should live within reasonable commuting distance of Bourne End, but there is a requirement to attend outside events as and when needed, plus some European travel. A driving license is essential. Motorcycle license desirable.
The ideal candidate doesn't necessarily need to have motorcycle industry experience (although that would clearly be advantageous) but you should have a strong background in logistics and team management.
Sound and proven management and administrative skills
Strong and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite plus AS400/Qlik
Flexibility and the desire to work to deadlines are key to this role.
Ability to work under pressure.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including travel and some weekend work on an as-required basis
Understanding and knowledge of the motorcycle market/trade is preferable, but not essential.

Overtime is paid at 1.75 rate, or in simple terms ….work a 10 hr Saturday at a show/dealer open day and be paid for 17.5hrs.
