Role Overview:
As a Sales & Aftersales Showroom Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for customers visiting our showroom. Your role will involve assisting our sales and aftersales personnel, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:
• Meet and Greet: Welcome all customers upon arrival and ensure they feel valued and attended to.
• Assist Sales & Aftersales Personnel: Support the sales and aftersales teams during peak times by offering assistance to customers, guiding them around the showroom until a sales or aftersales person is available. From time to time, during busy periods or times when there is staff absence, you may also become the main point of contact for our sales and aftersales customers.
• Maintain Showroom Appearance: Ensure all areas of the showroom are consistently presented in an inviting and tidy manner to enhance the customer experience.
• Appointment Booking: Schedule appointments and make pre-calls to confirm appointments, ensuring efficient customer engagement.
• Handle Customer Enquiries: Take down enquiries from customers and provide assistance with their sales and/or aftersales questions, offering product information based on their needs and preferences.
This role is predominantly part-time, working a minimum 3 days per week but building to 5 days per week during peak season trading times during spring/summer.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to communicate with customers in person, over the phone, and via email.
Outgoing personality with a passion for motorcycles.
Flexibility in working hours, with the ability to accommodate variations as and when it might be necessary.
Full motorcycle and car licence.
Previous experience in a motorcycle retailing/customer service environment.
You must be able to work on your own initiative but also to work as part of a team, willing to help throughout the business.
Positive can do attitude.
Genuine knowledge and interest in motorcycles.
Previous experience in a motorcycle environment .
Educated to a minimum of GSCE in Maths and English.
Computer literate.
Previous experience in a franchised Yamaha dealership and/or knowledge of the brand would certainly be advantageous but is not essential.
A very competitive salary will be awarded to the successful candidate which will fully reflect both experience, qualifications and hours worked.
