As Aftersales Manager, you will be instrumental in the efficient running of a busy Parts & Service Department. This is a fast-paced role that requires a hands-on approach, excellent organisational skills, and a strong mechanical background.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Aftersales Department, delivering a first-class customer experience.
Support the effective loading and management of the workshop diary, ensuring efficient scheduling of service and repair work.
Oversee and maintain accurate customer records to enable proactive follow-ups and marketing opportunities.
Maximise parts, accessory, and apparel sales opportunities through effective upselling and customer engagement.
Process and manage warranty claims with precision, ensuring timely completion of work and full customer satisfaction.
Monitor and support customer feedback, ensuring it aligns with the standards expected by both the business and our franchise partners.
Deliver professional communication and service across all customer interactions, both in person and over the phone.
Use the Catalyst Platinum Dealer Management System for parts, invoicing, and customer records.
Confidently use Microsoft Office for administration and reporting tasks.
Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels for parts, accessories, and consumables.
Support the team in achieving departmental targets and upholding a strong service reputation.
Preferred: Experience with Yamaha systems and parts ordering processes.
Previous industry experience in a similar aftersales or parts/service advisor role.
Time-served or strong mechanical background is essential.
Confident using the Catalyst DMS (Platinum) system.
Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and professional phone manner.
Highly organised, with good diary and workflow management.
Experienced in warranty administration and claims processing.
Strong sales awareness with the ability to identify and maximise accessory and apparel sales opportunities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Self-motivated and proactive with a passion for powersports and motorcycling.
Full UK driving license
Previous industry experience in a similar aftersales or parts/service advisor role.
Time-served or strong mechanical background is essential.
