Job Summary:

• Technical support for the dealer network of Polaris Off-Road vehicles and Indian Motorcycle
• Coordination of parts, garment and accessory orders (PG&A), improving the efficiency of customer service.
• Provision of technical training for the British dealer network

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist dealers with any requirement about breakdowns or technical issues on vehicles, service bulletins, and recalls
• Telephone counselling for dealers and customers
• Regular visits to dealers for training purposes, audits and to build a good working relationship
• Supporting the marketing department with preparation and realization of events
• Prepare and maintain press demo fleet
• Management of communications to the dealer network
• Preparation and implementation of technical training for the dealer network
• Manage PG&A (Parts, Garments & Accessories) orders for dealers and ensure the ongoing accuracy of availability information.
• Management of parts orders, provision of the corresponding status and communication with dealers.
• Work with European Head Office PG&A Staff to develop and deliver smarter / leaner PG&A Forecasting for Polaris UK & Ireland
• Preparation of reports for the Regional Technical Service Supervisor on the status of the PG&A business with the dealer network
• Routinely analyse data on common part failures and liaise with service managers, product managers and engineers to identify root causes and solutions
• Participation in relevant Polaris events and meetings (department meetings, trade fairs and dealer events)
• Managing communication with authorities such as the DVLA to avoid legal issues

Ideal Candidate

• Minimum HND, preferably Degree level education, with significant experience (minimum 5 years) in automotive / mechanical field
• Excellent technical customer service skills, high level of teamwork.
• Excellent organization, communication and administrative skills, PC applications, Microsoft Word, Excel, data entry within order processing/distribution systems.
• Ability to take instructions and work independently.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and stressful work environment.
• Ability to resolve conflicts
• Expertise in vehicle electrics and vehicle diagnostics
• Interest in and knowledge of off-road vehicles and motorbikes
• Driving licence class B is necessary, class A desirable (not obligatory)
• Language skills: Fluency in English is mandatory, basic knowledge of is German is beneficial but not mandatory
