Purpose of Role/Job Overview:

Working as part of the Sales Team, the role is multi-faceted, but the core function is the administration and development of Kawasaki Parts, Clothing, Accessories and Merchandise (PCAM) for all Kawasaki product sectors. As Parts, Accessories & Merchandise Coordinator, you will be required to act proactively in terms of the selling and promoting of Clothing, Accessories & Merchandise (CAM) to our dealer network and this includes responsibility for online activity. There will also be an element of support and assistance to the Parts Coordinator, as the two business streams will operate closely together.

Main Tasks:

- The main internal and external point of contact for Clothing, Accessories and Merchandise.
- The dealer network first point of contact for Parts, Accessories & Merchandise product support.
- Initiate dealer promotions to maintain and grow volumes in order to achieve and exceed BP targets.
- Understand the clothing, accessory and merchandise range and provide dealer support and department assistance when required.
- Parts department support and administration including Parts returns/Customs assistance.
- Operate as part of the dealer systems support team for KMUK developed systems.
- Compile quarterly dealer standard audit reports.
- Maintain regular contact with the dealer network, including periodic visits as prescribed by Operations Manager.
- Be aware of KMUK’s monthly Clothing, Accessories & Merchandise performance against target and business plan and advise accordingly, with recommendations if appropriate. This includes Motorcycle, Off Road and Utility Vehicle products.
- Maintain and update all dealer or customer facing KMUK operated systems and websites, with Clothing, Accessories & Merchandise content.
- Participate in KMUK retail activities and manage KMUK’s direct retail partners.

This role is a combination of being office based and working from home, but there is also a requirement to visit dealers and to attend outside events in a direct retail sales capacity. This will include some weekends as required. The role also offers the opportunity, for the right candidate, to progress to a more senior level within the department.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess a knowledge and understanding of motorcycles and the motorcycle market.

Essential

Sound and proven administrative skills.
Strong and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
Flexibility and the ability to work to deadlines is key to this role.
Willingness to work flexible hours including travel and some weekend work on an as required basis.
Driving license is essential.

Desirable

A knowledge and love of the Kawasaki brand would, of course, be advantageous!
Motorcycle license desirable.
