Advertising Sales Executive

Bikesportnews.com is the UK’s biggest bike-racing only website and the destination for more than half a million visitors every month, as well as the place for riders, team managers, promoters and those in the industry to find out who is doing what to whom and who doesn’t want anyone to find out about it. Dirt Bike Rider has been the home of everything motocross since 1981 and has been winning awards ever since.

We’re looking for an ambitious individual to come and join the team at our award-winning Dirt Bike Rider and Bikesportnews.com team as an Advertising Sales Executive. You’ll be part of a successful team of like-minded people all of whom share a passion for motorcycling in all its forms.

Your role will primarily involve talking to existing clients about the products and services we offer across the print and digital platforms for both these market-leading publications. On a day-to-day basis your responsibilities will include:

- Selling digital and print advertising
- Liaising with both existing and prospective customers
- Responding to potential client inquiries
- Chasing copy

The successful candidate will be based at home.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience of selling to clients/customers either face to face or via telephone. You will be someone who enjoys interacting with other people, is able to enthusiastically lead and initiate sales-based telephone conversations and is passionate about delivering outstanding levels of customer service.

Essential

You should be able to work as part of a team, possess a positive can-do attitude to everything you do and be able to successfully build rapport and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues alike. As this is a home-based role, you must also possess the ability to work using your own initiative and be highly organised and self-motivated.
