Motorcycle Workshop Manager

As main dealers for Suzuki, Piaggio, Vespa, Aprilia, Herald and Kymco, we are looking for an experienced Workshop Manager who will be able to bring their passion and enthusiasm for the Workshop into our successful motorcycle and scooter business. Working with some of the world’s most successful and exciting motorcycle & scooter brands, this important role involves being able to organise and manage our workshop bookings, allocating jobs to Technicians and communicating with customers giving updates and progress reports.

Key responsibilities and duties are:

- Booking and job planning.
- Spare parts ordering and stock control.
- Processing warranty claims.
- Ensuring that the workshop is run and maintained to a professional standard.
- Developing personal skills and capability through on-going training, as provided by the company or elsewhere subject to company approval.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of Workshop management in a motorcycle or automotive environment. You will also ideally have a knowledge of Suzuki and Piaggio dealer portals but this is not essential as full training will be provided.

Essential

You should be able to communicate effectively with workshop staff and customers alike and possess a sound knowledge and understanding of motorcycles from a technical perspective. A passion for motorcycles is an absolute must as is the ability to lead by example and deliver results.

A full motorcycle and driving licence is essential

Desirable

Technical experience of the Piaggio and Suzuki product ranges would be an advantage.
