Feridax (1957) Ltd founded in 1957 is the largest wholesale importer and exporter of motorcycle and cycle clothing and accessories brands in the UK. A unique opportunity has become available for a National Sales Manager.

Job description:

Reporting to the Managing Director and Sales Director, the ideal candidate will devise, implement, and support the Company’s strategy in the management of several key accounts and continued growth within the UK market.

The role requires extensive travel around the UK and regular attendance at industry trade shows and exhibitions.

This opportunity will ideally suit someone who is already operating at this level and who is looking for a fresh challenge in their career. However, we would also welcome applications from candidates who are currently operating at the level of “middle management” and are looking to make the next step to “senior management” for their career.

This role has a clear progression path to Sales Director.

Responsibilities:

- Manage internal and external sales team and product trainers, including regular reviews, setting targets and KPIs, and conducting annual appraisals.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
- Establish professional relationships with our portfolio of suppliers.
- Negotiate and manage sponsorship of professional riders and rider support service.
- Negotiate and close agreements with key customers.
- Monitor and analyse performance metrics.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
- Conduct research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.
- Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with customer needs.
- Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency.
- Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board.
- Involvement in annual product launch.

Essential

Experience and qualifications required:

- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Administration or other relevant field is advantageous.
- An in-depth understanding of the UK motorcycle market is essential.
- Intermediate competency using Microsoft Office packages.
- Proven ability to understand and analyse sales performance metrics.
