KTM-Sportmotorcycle UK Ltd is the UK subsidiary of Pierer Mobility - Austria, which comprises of KTM, Husqvarna Motorcycles, GASGAS and WP Suspension. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the KTM Groups UK Senior Management Team delivering sales targets and managing standards through an independent dealer network.

Reporting to the Managing Director and with responsibility for a team of three Area Sales Managers, your main responsibilities will be:

Achievement of the national sales targets

• Development of the national motorcycle sales plan
• Development of the national Parts, Garments & Accessories plan
• Maintain relationship with the dealer network

Dealer Profile and Standards

• Management and implementation of changes to the Dealer Contracts
• Annual review of the network and development of the dealer standards
• Monitor and support dealers in line with Dealer Profile, Minimum Standards, and agreed Dealer Development Plan

Reporting:

• Internal sales management reports, regular review of sales performance against target
• Dealer performance reports
• Market Analysis reports MIS, CTR
• Sales planning against Dealer territory

You may on occasions be required to work additional hours / days (e.g. shows, exhibitions and dealer events) or complete other duties as reasonably required.

Person Profile:

The ideal candidate will have a proven sales management background but will also demonstrate a fresh and dynamic attitude towards the motorcycle industry. With experience of managing a team and managing relationships with independent businesses in a retail environment. You will also have a passion for motorcycling and motorcycle racing.

Leadership – The ability to motivate and drive a team in a results driven environment.

Relationship management – Personable and charismatic, able to form strong relations and communicate effectively on all levels.

Commitment – The self-drive to deliver despite adversity and flexibility to work/travel as and when required in a demanding environment.

Organisational Skill – The ability to plan and meet deadlines in a fast paced, dynamic environment with the IT skill to support this.

A full motorcycle and car driving license (with no more than 6 points).
