Trainee Motorcycle Sales Executive

JOB TITLE: TRAINEE MOTORCYCLE SALES EXECUTIVE

DUTIES

The successful applicant is expected to be a good communicator and have a willingness to learn. A polite and helpful manner together with a keen interest in motorcycles is essential. Joining the Youles Sales Team as our trainee you will be taught by our experienced sales professionals. They will coach and mentor you enabling you to maximize the opportunity that business can offer. Whilst previous sales experience in the motor trade is not required some form of experience at dealing with the general public would definitely be an advantage. This position would ideally suit someone that has a retail or hospitality background. However, there is no reason why you couldn’t be a person that wants a totally different direction and change in career as experience from a whole host of industries would put you in a good position.

You will very quickly help increase the sales of Triumph, Suzuki, Piaggio, Gilera, Vespa, and late used machines. We will help by supplying a large amount of online training in both products and services offered by Youles Motorcycles and the manufacturers that we support. Eventually, you will take qualifications in vehicle finance and also attend manufacturer training. You will also be required to project the company’s values on customer service and above all be honest and extremely self-motivated.

Your job location will be at our Blackburn Store Pendle Street Blackburn Lancs BB1 1NG. Weekend work will be required - this is on a rotating system. Some weekends you will work Saturday only others Sunday only and one weekend Saturday and Sunday. Hours of business are weekdays 8.30hrs to 18.00hrs, Saturdays 8.30hrs to 17.00hrs and Sundays 10.30hrs to 16.30hrs. Holiday entitlement will be 20 days plus bank holidays. Your remuneration will be a basic salary of £18500 plus commission on sales. You would expect to have an OTE of £32000 in your first year. Your basic salary and will be reviewed annually. With the right attitude and ability, you should be earning £38000 by the end of your second year. A generous staff purchase scheme exists that enables parts clothing and new motorcycles to be purchased at trade or below prices. The company also contributes to a stakeholder pension scheme with extra payments for long service.
