An opportunity has arisen within our After Sales department for a proactive and process driven Warehouse Coordinator who will always strive to improve the efficiencies of the warehouse operations of the business.

Reporting to the Workshop & Warehouse Supervisor the successful applicant will be required to balance each departments long standing and last minute requests by prioritising accordingly.
You would be expected to send out a variety of parcels, normally containing Yamaha genuine parts, to numerous business partners and customers, or to our colleagues at our central European head office in the Netherlands on a daily basis. Taking receipt of incoming deliveries to produce credits for our dealer networks as well as accepting parcels from suppliers is included in this roles main accountabilities.

This position will have to work closely with the Sales Admin team to assist with managing the requirements of key commercial customers to ensure packing and despatch is in line with the contracts special terms agreed and delivery lead times. Accurate stock control for these accounts is a must so candidates should have an organised approach and be able to demonstrate this.

We anticipate that the successful applicant will have an understanding of health & safety protocols for such working environments and it will be a further requirement of the role to oversee and ensure implementation of such necessary measures, assessments and checklists for both the warehouse and workshop areas that includes but is not limited to fork-lift trucks pre-checks, racking inspections, COSHH assessments etc.

Occasional travel including assistance with logistics at national shows and other promotional events will be expected.

Ideal Candidate

Previous experience of working in a similar role will be considered an advantage and you should be within a reasonable commuting distance of Yamaha UK’s HQ near Woking.

Essential

You will need to have effective communication skills, be a team player and hold basic computer literacy to be considered for this position.
A full car licence is essential as well as a current fork lift certification.
