With offices in the USA, UK, Australia, and Japan we have dedicated sales teams providing excellent customer service for all kinds of motorcycle exhaust enquiries. Our team is made up active enthusiasts with a racing or motor sports background.

Due to the continued success and expansion of our company, we are looking to enhance our team further with the addition of a R&D Technician to our team of skilled and knowledgeable motorcycle enthusiasts.

The general responsibilities of this role are:

- To consult and create 3D models/drawings in order to execute jobs and tasks to design standard.
- The development of our leading R&D facilities ô°workshop and Dyno,ô°‚ in line with the company’s ethos of ô°ƒdesigned and developed in Englandô°„, ensuring that all facilities are maintained and promoted as such.
- Ensure Product quality is always within product design and component functions
standard.
- Producing and maintaining all supporting QA documentation.
- Deliver R&D projects within agreed time and quality parameters.
- Have a mindset of continuous improvement of R&D projects in the field of exhaust technologies.
- Ensure all design can be manufactured accurately and cost effectively.
- Use COSHH and risk assessments, comply with company procedures and HSE legal
requirements.

You will need to be able to demonstrate a minimum 5 years’ experience in a Physical Science, Engineering, Exhaust Engineering or Automotive engineering background. The role is suitable for a graduate calibre applicant with a minimum 2 years’ experience in R&D, or an experienced candidate with a proven track record in a similar role.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will:

- Have comprehensive knowledge of installing motorcycle exhaust system and able to
generate aftermarket exhaust fitment guide (templates are available as a baseline).
- Have a mindset of continuous improvement of R&D projects in the field of exhaust technologies.
- Have extensive understanding of exhaust product testing: Noise testing, performance testing for AFR, BHP and Torque, to ensure highest quality of developed products.
- Possess the ability to identify engineering problems as they occur and ensure effective solutions are implemented.
- Be experienced and familiar in using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machinery (CNC Tube bending, cutting equipment, grinders,
welding machine etc.).
- Possess the ability to use precision tools (e.g. Vernier callipers, micrometres) to take and record accurate measurements.

Essential

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent manual dexterity, accuracy and attention to detail skills are mandatory for this role.
- Excellent IT skills are essential - Microsoft Office, 3D/CAD and in-house DMS.

Desirable

- A general understanding of motor vehicle exhaust systems (preferably motorcycle exhaust systems) would be advantageous.
- Extensive experience of Dyno operation would be a distinct advantage, although training can be provided, where required.
