Junior Motorcycle Technician

We are looking for a Motorcycle Technician with a minimum of 1 year in a hands on role to join our current workshop team to look after the service, maintenance and repair of customer's new and used bikes.

From time to time you may also be required to talk to customers and as such you must be able to communicate clearly and provide technical explanations in a way that can be easily understood.

40 Hours per week, 5 days per week – on a rota basis – covering 8:30-6 mon-fri, 9am-5pm Sat and Sunday 10am-4pm.

Ideal Candidate

This is a very hands-on role and the ideal candidate will:

- Have a great attitude, high levels of skill and the ability to work as part of a team both in the workshop and the team on the sales floor.
- Have previous experience as a Motorcycle Technician preferably with Harley-Davidson product and be able to work efficiently and safely to produce work of the highest standard.
- Be passionate about the Harley-Davidson brand.
- Have good attention to detail.
- Be flexible and reliable and possess a good sense of humour.
- Be able to comply with all company and manufacturer disciplines and procedures.

Essential

A positive "can do" attitude. Willing to listen to and support other technicians to facilitate their training.
Full UK Motorcycle licence.

Desirable

Harley-Davidson qualified and / or experience of working in a Harley-Davidson dealership.

If you are a qualified MOT tester that would be advantageous.
