An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Sales & Marketing Division for a dynamic sales person to become an Area Sales Manager for all Motorcycle and Scooter related products. Reporting to the Manager, Motorcycle & Scooter Sales You will be responsible for representing the Yamaha brand in the North of the UK.
The main responsibilities of this role are to visit our extensive dealer networks, maintaining and strengthening the relationships which exist and to seek out new sales opportunities. You will need to be comfortable working in a field based role and be able to plan routes effectively to achieve on average 3 dealer visits per day .
The customer experience of Yamaha must always align with our brand values so it is an important part of the role to lead our dealers on the benefits of this unified approach to our business partnership along with ensuring the presence of our visual identity in their showrooms. Being one of four Area Sales Managers for one of our key market sectors requires working with colleagues in the rest of the area sales team to achieve the targets required both in the North of the UK and on a national level. Performance reports for each region as well as ideas will be discussed and collaborated on at regular sales meetings at our head office in Working, Surrey where you will need to be in attendance. Attendance at industry shows and events will also be expected.

Essential
Applicants should have relevant sales experience, plus the energy and enthusiasm to meet the challenges and opportunities available to maximise sales wherever possible. You will also need a full motorcycle license at the point of application.
