Motorcycle Salvage Parts Salesperson

You will help run and maintain a used motorcycle parts store that sells 1000’s of parts per month. This element of our company has been growing exponentially over the past few years and we now need a new team member to help us expand even further.

Key Responsibilities:
- To work with 1000’s of bikes identifying parts that are suitable for retail sales.
- Sort and prepare parts ready for sale.
- Image, price and compile advert narrative.
- List items via our eBay shop and Magento system (stock system).
- Locate and store items using our warehouse management system.
- Monitor sales in Magento (stock system).
- Pick, pack and dispatch sold items via courier on a daily basis.

4th Dimension also run a full salvage bike sales operation. It may be expected of you to assist the salvage bike sales operation when needed. It is vital that the salvage department are flexible in order to maintain cover, particularly at busy periods. These duties will include:

- Prepare salvage bikes ready for advertisement.
- List and advertise salvage bikes via eBay.
- Answer customer queries (Via telephone, eBay messaging and customer facing)
- Facilitate bike collections (Including taking payment)
- Arrange sold bike deliveries using the 4th-d logistics department.

Ideal Candidate

- An in depth knowledge of motorcycle makes, models and parts.
- At least a basic technical knowledge on motorcycles, i.e. low level mechanical skills.
- A passion for motorcycles.
- Polite, confident and professional telephone manner.
- A team player.
- Computer and IT literate.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- A problem solver with the ability to assume responsibility and act on own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills (written, face to face and on the telephone).
- Reliable, conscientious and dedicated.
- Experience working in the automotive parts supply area would be an advantage.
