Motorcycle Sales Executive & Motorcycle Sales Assistant

Jax Motorcycles is a Yamaha lightweight dealer located in York. We pride ourselves on the quality of new and used motorcycles we are able to offer. Our sales team are all biking enthusiasts and as a result of our continued growth we now have two great opportunities within our sales team for candidates who love selling but most importantly love bikes!

We're recruiting for a Motorcycle Sales Executive and a Motorcycle Sales Assistant to join our successful team at our Yamaha franchise dealership selling one of the market's leading and most popular motorcycle brands as well as our range of quality used motorcycles. Working with this brand, you must be well-presented and professional in order to be considered for these positions.

As a Motorcycle Sales Executive your primary responsibilities will be:

- To manage and develop all new and used motorcycle sales enquiries.
- To maximise the sale and profitability of all motorcycle sales using every tool at your disposal.
- To ensure that all key performance indicators and target objectives are met.
- To maximise the sale of all clothing and accessory products as part of the sale process.
- To maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction at all times.
- Using established follow up & prospecting procedures to maximise customer loyalty and retention.
- To assist management in maintaining and developing showroom policy and procedures.

The role of Motorcycle Sales Assistant is a key position within our busy sales team, working towards the sale of motorcycles and associated products. Whilst this is a supporting sales role, it is customer facing and there will also be plenty of opportunity learn, make sales and take them through to completion yourself. There will be considerable customer contact.
Key responsibilities of this role include:

- Opening and closing the showroom, and helping to keep it looking good.
- Providing a friendly and warm welcome to our customers, ascertaining their interests and helping them as directed.
- Pursue and progress sales enquiries. This will generally be under the direction of the Sales Manager and enquiries may be from any source - showroom, telephone, email, or online.
- Helping to complete sales and the handover of motorcycles.
- Proactively gain and share knowledge of the Yamaha range and its features.
- Help organise Test-Rides and customer follow up.

Essential

It is essential that candidates should possess a can do attitude and a willingness to improve and learn. You must be target driven and the sort of person who thrives on a challenge. You should already have experience of working within a defined retail sales process environment or if applying for the Sales Assistant opportunity the potential to succeed in a sales role. Above all else an unhealthy obsession and passion for motorcycles is a must.

Full motorcycle and/or car licence.
