Motorcycle Technician

Black Dog Motorcycles are a small family run team of people who are passionate and enthusiastic about motorcycles. We are a Service Centre for MV Agusta, we service many makes from Harley Davidsons to small scooters. We also have used bikes in stock for other brands like Yamaha, Suzuki and Honda with many Harley Davidson’s and custom bikes. We also are agents for Kymco, Keeway, Sinnis and Sym.

We are looking for a fully qualified, experienced Motorcycle Technician to join our workshop team in our small dealership working on many of the UK motorcycle market's leading brands.
The successful candidate must have experience of modern motorcycles and be able to use current diagnostic equipment and be familiar with all aspects of servicing and modern engine work. From time to time you may also be required to talk to customers and as such you must be able to communicate clearly and provide technical explanations in a way that can be easily understood.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should be qualified to NVQ level 3 and have experience of working in a workshop environment.

Essential

You should have a minimum of 2 years technical experience with modern motorcycles and be able to work unsupervised in a safe and timely manner to high exacting standards.
You must be a self-starter with a flexible can-do attitude, have a good attention to detail and be able to work as part of a team. Time keeping is essential please.
A full bike and/or car licence are essential.
