Motorcycle Technician

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Motorcycle Technician to join our Honda On and Off-Road main dealership workshop/service team in Gloucester.

Main duties include:

- Carrying out repairs and maintenance to motorcycles in accordance with manufacturer’s schedules and specifications.
- Housekeeping - general cleaning of your working and surrounding area.

From time to time you may also be required to talk to customers and as such you must be able to communicate clearly and provide technical explanations in a way that can be easily understood.

Technical ability, working as part of a team, customer focus and high quality standards are the attributes we seek.

This position will be a minimum of 40 hours a week. £23,000 - £27,000 OTE per annum. Salary subject to qualifications and experience.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should be qualified to NVQ level 3. If you have franchise workshop experience that would be advantageous. You will be able to work to tight deadlines to exacting manufacturer franchise standards and already have a good knowledge of the motorcycle industry.

Essential

A fully qualified Motorcycle Technician with experience of working on modern motorcycles is essential.
You must hold a full, valid motorcycle licence.

Desirable

If you are a qualified MOT tester that would be advantageous.
Experience of working on all makes of motorcycle would be advantageous.
