The KTM group continues to grow in the worldwide and UK markets, enabling the successful candidate to join the KTM Group at a very exciting time. The role will encompass both KTM and Husqvarna brands. We are a Ready To Race company and expect any candidate to demonstrate their ability to fit in with this mindset.
In order to achieve KTM and Husqvarna’s core objectives and to ensure the smooth running of our day-to-day business, we are looking for a Facilities and Events Coordinator to support the Marketing team. There are two elements to the job; the first is to ensure the smooth running of a busy warehouse and tasks associated with the management of the building. The second is to provide support to the marketing team for events in every area of their remit.

Main responsibilities
• Warehouse management – ensuring warehouse space is safe, orderly and clean
• Logistics support – goods in, warranty collections, organise deliveries, recycle and waste coordination
• Equipment maintenance – up keep and maintenance of security, fire protection, fork lift, lifting equipment, pest control, fume extraction
• Marketing support – vehicle loading, equipment preparation, bike collection and delivery, maintaining marketing and event equipment
• Event support – build, breakdown and support at marketing, dealer and sales events
• General – up keep and maintenance of premises and grounds, maintain Health and Safety procedures
• Any other duties as reasonably required

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience in either a warehouse environment (goods in, goods out, deliveries, equipment maintenance) or some event set-up experience (loading, building, breakdown).

Essential

You will live and breathe bikes.
You are experienced and confident in executing warehouse duties or event set-up.
You have proficient technical knowledge of motorcycles with some workshop experience.
You have basic Microsoft Office skills.
You are personable and able to easily fit into a team.
You have an excellent eye for detail and you must be willing to work weekends.
Full motorcycle licence is essential.
You will live in, or be prepared to move to within, a commutable distance to Silverstone.

Desirable

Forklift or HGV class 2 licence is not essential but would be advantageous.
